Trey and his Aunt Kristen..........Trey doesn't have a favorite Aunt(because he has too many and all are his favorite)......but for the closest Aunt (literally next door), Aunt Kristen has been his runaway buddy! When the front door opens, Trey is off and running down the pathway to Aunt Kristen's door. When she comes over to hang out(which is often), his mom and dad are not wanted. It is all about Aunt Kristen and her amazing "Crazy Kristen" fun!.....oh, and her baby phone app too! ;)
PROCRASTINATION IS THE INEVITABLE........
I thought that this would be easy to do regularly, but it seems as though that is not the case. You would think a "stay at home mom" would be able to get on the computer for at least 30 minutes a week to update a blog for family and friends, but I have a 1 year old that will not let me near the computer while he is around......(I am posting this at midnight!!!......shhhhh he is in bed ;) )
Trey turned 1 in May, and we had a birthday party at Central Park in HB. Trey's Aunt Tara made him an amazing cake with marshmellow fondant (yummy!)
In June, we drove up to Utah for Uncle Konrad & Michelle's wedding.
Driving up with Aunt Kristen was quite entertaining......She has a phone with a baby app where the baby will talk back, fart, dance, etc. Well, Trey loves this and he would not leave Aunt Kristen alone. I think she loved it all along! Trevor flew up on Father's Day and we snuck out to Chipotle after church for a Father's Day meal of his choice. ;)
Later that day, we had all the 10 K's (my brothers and sisters) together at Kari's house and my sister Kristen created this amazing video of pictures of all the men in our family. It was a very moving presentation and there was not a dry eye......at least on the ladies side. Trevor's speedo picture did however make a good laugh for everyone!
